In-person Pride celebrations are back in 2022, following two years of digital or rescheduled events due to the COVID-19 pandemic – and LGBTQ+ travellers are jetting across the world to major destinations to be a part of the queer joy.

As the modern Pride movement has grown in scale over the past few decades, parades, protest marches and queer parties attract millions of LGBTQ+ people from across the globe to celebrate in solidarity.

In the UK, 2022 marks 50 years since the very first Pride march took place in London in 1972, while it’s 53 years since the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in New York City acted as a catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ liberation movement that we know today.
