Steven L. Anderson is in the news again for wanting to slip into the country illegally. This comes after local homophobe Oscar Bougardt just could not keep his mouth shut about his plans. He should have taken some lessons from Anderson, who was banned from entering South Africa in the first place because he kept giving his plans away and we kept finding out what they were planning and putting a stop to it at every turn.
So let’s just clarify: Anderson remains banned, unless a court order or the Minister says otherwise. He is on a list that will prevent him from entering the country through any port. Should he slip through, he will be arrested and deported. Which, as he knows, is an expensive little round-about-way to get here and back home.
As for local Anderson acolyte Oscar B., it is clear that he has transgressed his court order. Again. And as far as we are concerned, the time has come to send this man to jail. The Equality Court needs to bare its fangs and do what is required.
In order to help them reach this decision, a petition was started late yesterday afternoon. In less than 24 hours, the petition has already gathered more than a 1000 supporters, and is being shared far and wide on social media.
And as for the rubbish political party (operating from a flat in Glenwood, Durban, apparently) who invited this rubbish here, please read the Constitution.
