After three years of operations, GaySA Radio is expanding its operations. With its offices now in Hatfield in Pretoria, the station has also expanded its reach by having a presence in Cape Town.
Creative and Marketing Manager Hendrik Baird recently relocated to Cape Town so as to be able to provide more coverage for events here. Cape Town is generally acknowledged to be the gay capital of not only South Africa, but indeed the whole of the African continent. It is a very open and accepting city when it comes to LGBTQ+ people, and has more venues catering to this segment of the population than anywhere else in the country.
Team GaySA Radio, therefore, decided that it would be in the best interest of our supporters and listeners if we were to expand our reach and grow our operations by establishing a satellite office in the fairest of Capes. This means that we will be able to give you even more interesting content than before.
We are still looking for guest presenters to fill up our daytime slots, and now being in Cape Town means we can spread the net wider. The shows are pre-recorded, so Hendrik can do the recordings locally and it can be uploaded to our system in Pretoria from broadcast in the near future. If you are interested in giving it a try, you must send an email expressing your interest and Hendrik will be in contact.
If you have an event you want us to cover, or a show you would like us to promote and review, or even an interesting interview we can record, then we are standing by. Just pop us an email with all the details and we will get back to you.
Remember you can always send us your content too, whether it be an article you have written, a video you would like us to feature on our YouTube channel, a podcast you would like to be featured on our live broadcast, a picture we can share on our Instagram. You are welcome to also check out our Facebook page or comment on our Twitter feed. We are eagerly looking for content producers to join our ranks and use our channels to reach our listeners and followers in more than 200 countries and territories.
This is GaySA Radio, where you are family!
