Celebrating with an epic weeklong bash, the Mother City welcomes her most colourful children for the fifteenth consecutive time at this year’s Cape Town Pride.

From 22 February to 3 March, Cape Town will don a rainbow-coloured robe – here is a definitive programme with all the events you can look forward to.

PINK PARTY

The annual Pink Party is the first event on the Cape Town Pride Calendar and is a fundraiser for Pride. The bars and clubs that are involved in this fabulous event are Crew Bar, The Prison, Zer021 Social Club, The Social Bar and Versatile. MR & MISS CAPE TOWN PRIDE 2019

This year, Miss Gay Western Cape, MVT Productions and Cape Town Pride Festival have once again joined forces to bring you a spectacular evening.

Proudly representing Cape Town Pride 2018, Chad Johnson and Camille Von Zuush will be on hand to crown the new royalty. Contestants will compete in two categories, swimwear and evening wear, before a new King and Queen will be crowned. The doors will open at 7pm and the event will start promptly at 8pm. Where: Pride Parade – Prestwich Street, Cape Town Come and join the largest Parade in Cape Town Prides history!

With floats and bands from all walks to express their Pride as the proud rainbow nation that we are!

The Parade will start at Prestwich Street in De Waterkant, and move towards Reddam Field at the Green Point Urban Park.

We will be having a moment of silence and reflection for our fallen brothers and sisters at the beginning of the Mardi Gras.

The Parade starts at 12pm, so be there on time!
